Don t follow La Liga & Serie A! Premier League CEO: There is no plan to play overseas in the Premier League
Premier League CEO Richard Masters said in an interview that the Premier League does not consider plans to host leagues overseas at all. Last month, the Italian and Spanish Football Associations announced plans to host leagues in Australia and the United States, and are seeking permission from FIFA and UEFA. If the tour is complete, Barcelona and Huang Qian will play a La Liga round in Miami, USA in December, and Milan and Cuomo will play a Serie A match in Perth, Australia in February. Premier League CEO Masters said: "I don't think this will change the position of the Premier League at all, and we don't have any plans to play overseas. This idea is not in our folders at all, and it is not a project we are discussing."
