Juventus is currently training in Germany's Hezgogenorach, and Juventus' technical director Modesto, who took office this summer, was interviewed.

Coming from Turin to Germany for training is a new experience for the team and for you myself

It is progressing smoothly, and we are very happy. We first trained in Turin and had a very pleasant time at home. Then we came here and we found everything was perfect. We are training physically and technically with the coach and the team, and we are very happy and very satisfied with the work the players have done.

This is the first time that Juventus has a technical director in charge of operations. Can you talk about your daily work?

As always, as a technical director, we are an intermediary between clubs, coaches, and players, and are closely related to the team's daily life.

Juventus' invitation was a surprise for you?

That was a wonderful thing and a very rapid negotiation. Whether as a manager, coach or player, it is a pride to receive a call from Juventus.

How do you treat players who are deeply involved in transfer rumors? You have them all train on the team, but maybe they need special attention?

Yes, but this summer, with the coach's consent, we decided to get all the players together to work. Because we are Juventus, we have to treat every player equally. We've made it clear to them, but they've also performed well and we're very happy. We hope everything will be fine.

You were also a professional player. What do you think of this team?

I saw a united team, a team that got along well with them, and they created something very important and very beautiful together with the coach. In fact, we have seen the team successfully qualified for the Champions League before. These players are all great people, they get along well and are already preparing for a very important season.

What do you think of Coach Tudor? The coach is currently very happy, he did a great job after taking over the team midway last season and he wants to continue doing the job well. We gave him the opportunity to continue working, we were with him every day, we kept communicating with him, making sure that he and the club’s strategy fit perfectly.

The Club World Cup this summer ended three weeks ago. From a physical perspective, will this affect the preparations for the new season?

It will be a very long season with a lot of games, but in my opinion, the Club World Cup is very important for the cohesion of the coach and the team. They did a great job, created something important, played with some strong teams, and gained a lot of confidence. The teams have had three weeks of vacations before, and like many big teams, in football, when you have a World Cup or European Cup, the players' vacations are short and they are used to it. The coaches and team doctors team are working hard to help players get back to shape, and we are very confident about this.

How is Juventus' newcomers integrating into the team?

They have adapted well because the team is healthy and excellent, and the players welcome them with open arms, making them feel like they are part of the team.

How are you working with Juventus General Manager Comoli and executive Chiellini?

We get along well, we are a team, and the three of us work together every day. Chiellini has been with us before and will not leave until tonight. He has Juventus' DNA and his presence has helped us a lot because he is Juventus' great champion. Mr. Comoli has extensive experience in international football management and he is an experienced person. The three of us worked very well and formed a team to contribute to the club together.
