Di Lorenzo on winning a penalty: I fell because there was physical contact, I did not dive
In the 8th round of Serie A this morning, Naples defeated Inter Milan 3-1 at home. After the game, Naples captain Di Lorenzo accepted an interview with Dazn. What is your evaluation of this game? I was looking forward to such a performance, and I felt a different atmosphere. We needed a game like this after midweek's Champions League defeat. I'm confident because I know us that we're starting over in the right way and happy about it. Please talk about the penalty kick you won. Was there a foul against you at that time? I haven’t watched the video of that time, but I definitely fell because I felt the physical contact of the opponent’s tackle. On the court, I felt like I couldn't stay standing due to the contact. That wasn't a dive, it was the referee's decision, and he made such a decision. What does Coach Conte require of you in this game? We mainly arrange Neres to conduct deep attacks, especially letting him and Acerbi one-on-one. Our midfielders did a great job getting in when he broke through the defence. They're very good at it and we scored two really good goals tonight.
