Transform quickly! Photograph: Hummels will serve as a TV commentator and participate in the live broadcast of the Champions League
According to Biography, German legendary defender Hummels quickly transformed after retirement. The former German international will join the football commentary team of streaming platform Prime Video and will participate in the live broadcast of the Champions League events from next season. In an interview with Biography, Hummels said: "I have mentioned in my personal documentary that the TV commentator is probably my first job since I finished my career. For me, Prime Video is a perfect choice. We watched the top Champions League matches on Tuesday night, and there is also a team of experts that I am very much looking forward to." Throughout his career, Hummels is a regular Champions League player. He participated in the 9-season Champions League with Dortmund and 3-season Champions League with Bayern. In the Champions League, he played in a total of 90 games and helped Dortmund reach the finals in the 2023-24 season.
