Shams: 76ers reject Justin Edwards option to sign a new three-year contract with him
According to famous reporter Shams, according to Klutch Sports agency Rich Paul, the Sixers refused to execute Justin Edwards' team option and instead chose to sign a new three-year contract with him. The team option contract that the 76ers refused to execute was $1.9 million, and Justin Edwards' new contract was guaranteed for the first two years, with an annual salary of $2 million in the first year. Last season, Justin Edwards was able to contribute 10.1 points per game, shooting 45.5% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point shooting percentage, making him a stable rotation player for the 76ers.
