According to previous reports, the Lakers plan to sign a two-way contract with center Christian Korlock.

Lakers reporter Trevor Lane wrote: "Kolock did show some highlights in the summer league, and he continued to train with the team throughout the offseason. He has been working hard to expand his shooting range, and as we saw in the Las Vegas Summer League, his willingness to make outside shots has increased significantly." In the summer league, Kolock played in five games, averaging 7.2 points, 4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 blocks per game, averaging 1 three-pointer, hit 0.2, and hit a 20% shooting percentage.
