New York new player! Yabuselle will continue to wear the No. 28 jersey in the Knicks

According to jersey reporter Etienne Catalan, the new Knicks appointee Abuselle will wear No. 28, continuing the jersey number at the 76ers.

No one has worn this number in the Knicks for 25 years. The last time the Knicks player who wore the No. 28 was still Andrew Long in 2000.

According to previous Shams reports, the Knicks and Yabuselle signed a two-year, $12 million contract with player options.

Yabussele returned to the NBA last year to join the 76ers, averaging 11 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, and shot 50.1/38.0/72.5% in three games.
