After the game, Celtics coach Mazzura said in an interview that the Nets played harder: "There were several stages in the game like this. In the middle of the third quarter, we reversed the situation."

Mazzura believed that the team did not do a good enough job in reading and defensive execution of the opponent's two-on-one situation.
