The Celtics defeated the Nets 113-99. After the game, Celtics coach Mazzula talked about his team's head coach Jaylen Brown in an interview with the media. The latter exerted his strength in the third quarter and scored 17 points in a single quarter.

"Jaylen Brown played very well. Look at his performance for us in the second half. He made 9 of 19 shots from the field and he grabbed a key offensive rebound. It was this rebound that helped us facilitate Pritchard's three-pointer in the corner. I think Jaylen Brown played so wonderfully in the second half." Mazzula said.
