According to reports, after Frankfurt rejected Newcastle's 80 million euro offer against Ekitic, Newcastle continued to add more, hoping to sign the French striker with a transfer fee of 100 million euros.

It is reported that Chelsea and Arsenal seem to have withdrawn from the competition. Liverpool has chosen Isaac as the first choice for signings and is willing to bid 130 million euros. Ekitic is their alternative.
