Lerottaglie: Tudor likes offensive tactics, which makes Juventus defense more difficult

Juventus’ old player Lero Talie talked about Juventus’ current defensive problems in an interview.

Juventus' defense has received some criticism this season. Lerottaglie said: "Currently Juventus has a clear defensive philosophy. But the concept of defense is broader and includes many other aspects, such as how to defend when in possession of the ball, how to mark people, and how to cover space. These details are not always observable from the outside, and we can only evaluate individual players' mistakes caused by lack of attention and concentration."

Lerotaglie continued: "Coach Tudor prefers offensive football. The team must always move forward. This tactic inevitably increases the difficulty of the defensive players' work. The risk is that in order to meet the coach's requirements, the players need to expend a lot of energy, which may lead to players not being clear enough when making choices at critical moments. In that case, a single pass or movement error may lead to conceding the ball."
